I thought I would send you out a quick catch up report and last leg plea on our crowdfunding campaign here at Thyme after Time Café and Catering.

Money Raised so Far….
We have only five days left and have raised 39% of our mission with 58 pledges which is absolutely amazing.

All or Nothing Campaign
However, as we have made our campaign so that it's an ‘all or nothing’ campaign so, if we do not make our sum total then all those pledges will be wasted and no money will not be taken from any of the generous folk who have kindly pledged to us.

Can YOU Help Us Attain Our Target - Lets Do a Deal??
So you see this is our predicament.
If several of  you are able to help us and I know that a few of you have expressly said to me that if we needed a greater sum of support you would be willing to step in before the end of the campaign? If this is you - then this is the moment I ask very kindly if you are still willing to- then yes please?

I am happy to come up with a tailored pledge deal if you want to touch base with me to make this happen as firstly so much work has gone into this already but secondly this will safeguard the future of - ‘Thyme after time’.

What catering services can we offer you to make a pledge??
I am not downright asking to be given money, no, not at alI, this is not begging-I am saying - let's do a deal, what can I offer you on a catering/ café front that would put a sum of money into our crowdfunding campaign??
Even if you are a business that uses catering services- can we help in return for a pledge? 
Or are you a regular customer and we could run a tab for you in return for a pledge to work down at your leisure on a book??

The Future of ‘Thyme after time’
How am I safeguarding the TaT business you ask??
Well, if we were thrust into the awful situation again of a lockdown, I know that we would have another string to our bow, we would have a separate mail order business running alongside our café which knowing what I know now would be able to keep ticking along if the situation arose.

Protecting our Employees
Secondly I am protecting the TaT staff jobs, it's not all about me here.
We have 12 staff that I feel very protective of and I feel it's my responsibility to look out for them. They have families, mortgages and financial commitments as you would expect.

Being visionary….
Finally it is no good to sit back in business and wait- I am a believer in pushing forward, driving onwards and into the future. 


The Future is in E Commerce and Mail Order
The mail order side would compliment our café in the best possible way to see us establish even deeper roots and drive nice and steady and securely into the future. 

We just need a little help to get it off the ground and we are happy to work for the funds!

What business deal can I offer to get funds into our campaign - supplying food for a party maybe, hosting a party at our café or running a tab in our book for a sum total. 

You tell me what work I can do to earn the money, I am very open to ideas?
It is such a vulnerable/ ‘putting yourself on the line’ thing to run a campaign such as this but I feel much happier knowing I / we can offer work, catering services in return for a sum of money!

“A Monkey and 3 Photographers” is a collaboration of three Sturminster Newton Photographers, Caroline and David Pass and Adie Ray and a mixed media artist Lindsay Buck from Durweston. We formed the group originally to exhibit from home in the 2020 Dorset Art weeks, but for obvious reason this was postponed until this year when it has taken on a slightly different form with a lot more people selling online but also many galleries will be opening their doors to the public.
@dorsetartweeks is creeping up on us even faster than before it seems and we have been very busy here with lots of news to share.
We are now going to be exhibiting for the two weeks in collaboration with the lovely Thyme after time Cafe and Catering The café will be open Monday to Saturday 8am til 2pm with breakfasts, brunches, lunches, coffee and teas being served from the Café kitchen. We will also be having a special Sunday opening on the 23rd May, 10am til 4pm, with the Café open for coffees, teas, cold drinks, cakes and scones!
Aide Ray of Perfect Printz will also be coming back into the group as the 3rd photographer
