We like to source our bread locally from fellow independents whenever possible. The bread we choose to use for our buffets is from Taylors Bakery of Bruton. They are a craft bakers and have been baking bread in Somerset since 1945. We know that when we order the bread it will be delivered freshly baked to us that morning so that we can make the most delicious sandwiches possible. We are looking not to just make a sandwich but to supersede not only your expectations but those of your guests as well. All our sandwiches are dainty cut and with crusts removed.

Information about choosing your Sandwich Selections
When choosing your sandwiches there are some simple rules to use as a guideline to offer the best variety for your guests. Unless you have very particular dietary requirements or you are catering specifically for a group who favour for instance lots of meat cause they are farmers for instance then the simple rule of thumb for making your choices is the following-
  1. a Meat type sandwich
  2. a Fish type sandwich
  3. a Vegetarian/ Vegan type sandwich
  4. this is the one that you can choose perhaps a meat sandwich that is not like you have already selected. i.e. – If you have chosen chicken for number 1 then say a beef or ham sandwich would make a great choice.
If though your guests are not heavy on the meat eating then you could choose say a prawn/shellfish sandwich if you have already chosen say tuna or salmon. On the other hand if a large percentage of your guests are vegetarian/vegan then to choose another vegetarian option would be prudent.
Gluten free- we are happy to cater for your gluten free guests, just let us know in advance.

We take great pride and make all our own cakes for both buffets and to sell in our Café. We like to think that because we make almost everything on our buffet menus, this stands us apart from the norm. We do not serve enormous chunks of cake, we take on a daintier afternoon tea approach, we allow 2-3 pieces of cake per head and by having smaller pieces your guests can enjoy more than one type. Generally, with regards to cakes on our buffets we liaise directly with our clients to choose which types they would like. However below is a list of the cakes we can offer and prove most popular.
