So it is only fitting that a special afternoon tea should contain delicate, dainty little, handmade morsels that taste amazing but also show considerable thought.
When writing our Mother's Day menu I started to note down all the little food items that Mum's enjoy so as you can imagine, I soon had quite a little list.- custard creams, gin and tonic, prosecco, chocolate, honeycomb and so on.
Then it was just down to working those ingredients into a menu with which I had tremendous pleasure!!

As a kid, I used to go off walking across the fields and bringing back my Mum a posie of little primroses and I still love that simplicity.
So this year we have collaborated with another local, independent Stalbridge business - 'Williams Florist and Nursery' and included in the price is a little seasonal potted plant that will be all gift wrapped and pretty to give along with your afternoon tea.

Of course as with all our menus we like to work an element of 'local' into the menu and with our Mother's day afternoon teas you will be supporting a dozen local Dorset businesses just in us putting this gift together. That surely makes the whole afternoon tea even more special?
