Welcome to our new Cafe at the Sidings! I think most of you will know that we have now moved our cafe into Stalbridge. We are in a lovely spot at the bottom of Station road called The Sidings. We are right at the start of the Dorset trailway, which runs through to Blackmore Meadows and is a lovely walk that you can take around the bottom of Stalbridge. It was a place I had been thinking about for a couple of years as a location. One of the most common things I must have heard every day from our customers when we were at Spirehill Farm was, "we wish we could walk or cycle to you". Well now you can! So here we are, centrally located and in Stalbridge town now and it feels great! We're open Monday to Friday for breakfasts (7.30-11.30) and lunches (12.00-2.30) and on Saturdays from 7.30 - 2.00, with breakfasts available all day and lunches from 12.00. Breakfast baps are available throughout every day and homemade cakes and savouries are there to have with a lovely cup of Tea or coffee. The menu is refreshed often, so there's always something new to try, like Tomato, Black Garlic & Basil Soup with Cheese on Toast, Roast Beef with Green Salad, pickled Cucumber & Honey Mustard New Potatoes and Smoked Salmon, Smashed Avocado & Poached Egg on toast (to name a few!) We look forward to seeing you soon! ‘The Sidings’, Units 3 & 4, Station Road, Stalbridge, DT10 2SS.
Landline number remains the same 01963 362202 Thought it was ‘Thyme’ we shared you some snippets of TaT mark 3 at the Sidings, Station Road, Stalbridge, DT10 2SS. Not long now until we throw open our doors! Really enjoying the feel of this building now, having spent time in here (lots and lots of time in fact) it really has a great vibe which is what is spurring us on to get it completed and open. I learnt a long time ago that it’s your soul that goes into a place. Anyone can open an establishment but what gives it the edge is the fact you give of yourself to it and impart a little of your soul to it- that’s what give it the great vibe that your customers can feel and sense, it’s almost tactile. Other wise it’s just another commercial premises with just another manager to whom it’s just a job and if that were the case we might as well be part of a chain and bang out the same robotic food you can find in any store in the UK and as you know that’s totally not what we are about! It’s light, it’s airy, it’s clean and actually it’s a very sociable space. We get heaps of Stalbridge folk swinging by to see progress and tell us how excited they are for our opening. We also get lots of cars drive up, turn around and take a look and then drive off. By god it’s been hard graft the last few weeks but it’s going to be totally worth it. Love a new beginning and a new project and I am excited to get this show on the road! It was visualised and now it is a thing! |
